Montserrat Tour from Barcelona with Tapas & Wine Tasting
About This Tour
Discover two sides of Catalonia on this Montserrat tour from Barcelona with tapas and wine tasting. Begin at Barcelona’s Estació del Nord and travel by air-conditioned coach while your local guide shares stories about the city, the region, and the landscapes ahead.
At Montserrat, explore the monastery and basilica with your guide and learn about the traditions surrounding this distinctive mountain retreat. After the guided visit, enjoy free time to take in the views, browse the farmers’ market, or explore a nearby trail, depending on the time available.
Choose a departure with the cogwheel train for a scenic ride up the mountain. The OM2TV option also includes reserved admission to the Black Madonna shrine, home to La Moreneta. Departures at 9:45 AM may offer the opportunity to hear the Escolania boys’ choir, depending on its schedule and availability. Choir tickets are purchased separately.
Continue to Oller del Mas, a castle winery built in AD 964 in Catalonia’s Bages region. A guided visit introduces you to the estate, its vineyards, and its approach to sustainable winemaking within the Pla de Bages appellation.
Sit down to a traditional Catalan tapas lunch with dessert and taste three local wines. The winery visit brings together regional food, wine, and history before your return to Barcelona.
For a deeper look at the estate’s wines, the OMVIP experience adds a private visit to the aging room and a tasting of three additional premium wines, including some poured directly from their aging vessels.
The tour returns to Estació del Nord between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.

Me gustó combinar Montserrat con la visita a la bodega. Las tapas y los vinos fueron un buen cierre. En la montaña me habría quedado un poco más.

Me gustó todoo.
